The Fox River Running Club was formed in the summer of 2009. Our focus is to create a running group centered in McHenry, Illinois to foster a culture and tradition of running in the McHenry community. Our group welcomes and encourages runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to join us for weekly runs/walks at Moraine Hills State Park. Runners are encouraged to join us whether you are training for a specific race and distance, or if you are simply looking for the camaraderie that a running and walking group enjoys.
Weekly runnning and walking opportunities will range in distance from 2-10 miles.
Membership in the Fox River Running Club is encouraged. Take advantage of the following membership opportunities:
